Better Public Meetings Collaboration

In collaboration with the Federation of Community Councils, National Civic League, and many other advocacy partners, YWCA Alaska seeks to better understand how YOU engage with the current public process.
Want local decision-making that works for the whole community? We're gathering insight to determine how you want to civically engage, is the current process effective and productive for you, and is it truly reflective of our whole communities needs. By participating, you can help us learn more about barriers to engaging with public meetings, thus providing guidance on making them more civil, equitable, participatory, and productive.
Contribute to strengthening the relationship between Anchorage residents and their local government.
