Nominate A Youth

This competitive award recognizes and celebrates 5 Youth leaders in Alaska. We need your help to identify these amazing leaders! 


The 2022 YWCA Alaska of Achievement & Youth Awards nominations are now open for outstanding young ladies making a difference in their community who have overcome obstacles throughout their journey. Nominate a high school student making a difference in her community today! 

YWCA Summer Camps

YWCA Alaska hosted two Youth Summer Camps in July 2022.  Both camps included opportunities for students to develop skills in leadership and teamwork. 

YWCA Justice Camp

YWCA Justice Camp allowed students to explore the career opportunities in Law & Justice. This 5-day camp was offered in partnership with Alaska Court System and National Association of Women Judges (NAWJ). 

YWCA Energy Camp

YWCA Energy Camp offered hands-on experience to build an understanding of the environmental costs of power, the awareness of electrical safety, and a tour of a power plant. This 3-day camp was offered in partnership with Chugach Electric.
