Through It All: We Rise Together is a collaboration between several organizations within Alaska and a group of students from Pennsylvania College of Technology. The student volunteers are undertaking a service-learning project for YWCA Alaska that will help provide an opportunity for local stakeholders to gather and discuss Alaska’s unique challenges surrounding domestic violence, access to resources, and other similar topics. The project centers around hosting a conference-style event in Anchorage on UAA’s campus on 6/4/2022 where a panel of local speakers will discuss their perspective on the topic. The conversation hopes to provide an opportunity to explore new options, perspectives, and identify new pathways to the future.
