The YWCA Alaska is committed to supporting our community, specifically our marginalized community members (race, sexual orientation, social economic status, age, etc.). To do this, we are implementing a robust strategic plan with four pillars to guide our work.
Be Unafraid: allow the BOLD mission of the YWCA Alaska to lead BOLD activity.
Leadership Expertise: become the organization that is widely recognized to be working hardest, most publicly around issues impacting marginalized communities and women.
Youth Empowerment: elevate visibility of the YWCA Alaska through program delivery at schools, deliver programming in line with YWCA Alaska's mission.
Org. Wellness & Sustainability: diversify funding streams to the YWCA Alaska and strive for exceptional board and staff recruitment.

The YWCA Alaska has had such a productive fiscal year! We're proud of the work were were able to accomplish thanks to your generosity and support. We held numerous Community Conversations, Youth Empowerment Programming was implemented, we had a super successful 35th Annual Women of Achievement Luncheon, and we learned so much along the way.
