Young People of Achievement Awards

YWCA Alaska’s Young People of Achievement Awards

Each year, YWCA Alaska recognizes 10  youth with the Young People of Achievement Award. The Award Recipients are young people who have overcome major challenges in their lives and who have worked to fulfill the mission of the YWCA: eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity to all. We are privileged to have such amazing young people impacting our community and are honored that we are able to publicly acknowledge their contributions!
