Women’s Economic Empowerment Center
“Building an economic lifeline for women in all stages of life.”
The purpose of the Women’s Economic Empowerment Center is to create an educational and resource rich environment to help women (and men) start, grow and expand their small business. We empower entrepreneurs of diverse ethnic backgrounds, particularly those who are socially and economically disadvantaged, through comprehensive business planning; financial literacy; income generation; and business counseling.
The Women’s Economic Empowerment Center is the only Women’s Business Center (WBC) for the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) which serves the entire state of Alaska and provides an economic lifeline of financial independence, business growth, training and personal empowerment for entrepreneurs in all stages of life.
Women’s Economic Empowerment classes and events are cancelled until further notice.
